I’m fed up with dialup — the connection problems, the interminable download times, the interference with my home phone usage. Friends have been telling me to get out of the dark ages and check out what DSL has to offer. Apparently, DSL isn’t that expensive, especially when you factor in the various offers such as free modems and wifi, cash back, and more. So now I have to figure out who the high speed internet providers in my area are. I also wanted to know the difference between DSL and other internet delivery systems like cable, satellite, and fiber optics. Some of my friends have gotten FiOS and AT&T Uverse, and they are over the moon about their service, and urged me to check out bundling internet and television for incredible versatility.
